Disappointed

I was excited to try this water lip stain, it did not live up to the expectations. It is not long lasting the color comes off quickly lips felt weird with it dryer than usual.

Wonder product!

I’ve heard so much hype surrounding lip stain that I did a google search and this one came up as a good starter product. Not knowing what to expect I was surprised at the consistency. It come in a barrel like a lipstick but with a brush. It is very runny. Almost like water. I found for me the best way to apply it was to use the brush to place it in the centre of my lips and then to use my finger to spread it lightly around ensuring an even coverage. The first application is very light. Matt. No sheen. If you add a lip balm or a gloss it immediately deepens the colour. The more confidence I gained with using this, I can now, after applying the coats I want and achieving the colour I want, apply it with the brush around the lip liner, deepening the colour there further. It is a very effective result. I definitely recommend it, I just wish it came in more colours!
