Ombre Velvet Pink Paradise Eyeshadow

As lm now experiencing mature skin l am finding creme eyeshadows & blushers not only stay on the skin longer l also feel they give a more youthful look. This shadow offers a powder finish & you can wear it as a base for palette shadows.

Disappointing

Read reviews and took a chance, wish I hadn't. Looks and feels like poor quality stage make up, thick, opaque, dry, flaky and doesn't blend, bought the 01 White Shadow. Very surprised as Clarins products usually so excellent and I'm a regular customer.

Nice product

It took a few tries to get used to Velvet Shadow, I found it too sticky at first but once I realised you only need a very small amount it went on a dream feels really nice and doesn’t crease. Start with a tiny amount and build if needed.

Brightens your eyes

I use under the brow to mid eyelid. Immediately gives brightness to eyes. Love it!

Velvet shadow.

As a more mature lady of 61 I much prefer the texture of this on my skin. I find powder shadows cling to my dry skin and make my eyelids look more crepey than they actually are. I like the way it blends more easily too so you can go lighter or heavier ( finger or brush) depending on the look you wish to achieve. Not sure it will last as long as powder hence the four stars but I’m a convert and would like to see more shades please.

I much prefer Ombre Matte in color 02 Nude Pink

my long time favorite Ombre Matte eye shadow has been discontinued in the Ombre Velvet was suggested as an alternate. I don't care for the consistency or the color.
