On sale for a reason?

Ordered these shoes to be delivered to the store. When I picked them up and took them out of the box, one shoe has scratches all over. Ended up returning right away.

Shoes arrived damaged and appeared to be used. There were numerous scuff marks on the top of the toe areas. Otherwise would have been a great price and they look comfortable.
