Wanted to love these
I am a huge Clarks fan and have the Cloudstepper thong sandals in almost every color because I wear them every day. I was so excited when I saw these ballet flats. They looked comfortable and were made in adorable colors. However, the addition of the extra cushion above the shoe and around the heel is extremely uncomfortable. I am not sure why that piece is needed because it is so high that it digs into the ankle bone on both sides of my heel. I was so disappointed. If that piece was removed they would be great, but as is, very uncomfortable.
Super cute, but a size problem
These were really nice, and it hurt me to return them. The problem was that I am a 5 and 1/2 with a narrow heel and wider toes. These were Size 6 but because it was noted that they ran small, I hoped they would work. Sometimes Size 6 does work for me. However, although the toe box was comfy, the heel was just too big, even with socks on. So I returned them, but have not yet found anything cuter.
Not for me
these run very small--had to return them. The olive was a very nice color.
Flat Failure
I had high hopes for this show, but ended up being disappointed. Its not as wide as I need it to be. The heel has padding but still rubs my ankle raw. There is no arch support. I added an insert and it just cramps my toes even more. I ordered an 8W and it fits nearly the same as a regular 8. Cute print, I like the color, but can’t walk without thinking about how uncomfortable the back of my ankles are.
A light weight that is Pretty on foot!
I love the look and fit of this shoe. It is very light weight and comfortable but it does run a bit narrower than Clark’s regular medium widths which works for me since I have a narrow heel and will wear these without socks. So nice to have a pair of shoes that I can wear barefoot without the back of the shoe flopping off my foot when I walk.
