Reasonable Comfortable

I’m not sure if it’s my feet, or the shoes. I have increased a half size when I bought new walking sneakers. This shoe features a buckle closure, not Velcro. The strap that holds the leather down just below the buckle will not stand up to taking shoes on and off and trying to slip the leather in the loop. I think having a faux buckle would have worked better (with a Velcro closure) than it currently does. I also wish Clark’s made more Brown shoes. I had a very hard time finding a size 8.5 in brown. Many were sold out in my size. Otherwise it’s a very lightweight shoe, and the comfort of a Clark’s shoe.

What I was looking for

I have purchased Clarks shoes and slippers in person for along time. I found them to be durable, comfortable, and practical footwear. I wanted a conservative round, smooth toe shoe (no high heels) that either partially or covered my instep, arch and had lace up or a buckle closure (no velcro). I was open to color choice but preferred black because my previous Clarks lasted a long time and a neutral color goes with almost all my business, work, casual attire. This time the Carleigh met what I was looking for. I got them on a discounted price which helped. I had them shipped to store for my pick up. They arrived quickly. The outer shipping box was in perfect condition. I opened the box at the store. The actual shoe box was beat up and obviously this was a return because the previous customer’s shipping & return slip was in the box. However, the tissue may or may not have even been flicked open and the shoe looked like it was not even tried on. An older or showroom model? Although, there were no noticeable finger prints on them. Go figure. I kept them and am happy. :)

Great Buy

I bought 5 pair of Clarks shoes and all of them fit me perfectly. I love these shoes because they are so comfortable and give me some ease when my feet swell in the heat. They do not crimp my feet.

Clark’s women’s shoe

The shoes are very stylish, comfortable and sleek on your foot. The strap going across the top adds a nice accent to the shoe. The strap does kind of pull away from the main part of the shoe but it’s not bothersome, which is why I gave it a 4 star rating.
