Great shoes
I love these shoes. I got them in size 9, I’m usually an 8 1/2 . There was a lot of space for my toes. Used heel pillow as my ankles are tiny and my foot is wide. The foot are is nice and wide so no squished feet. The heel is perfect for me. I’m happy I have them and the price was great!

Multiple Service failures
This review is about failures in Macy’s service instead of the actual boot, since I never received it. I ordered a pair of ankle boots online to be picked up in the Upland store. The wrong pair of boots were in the box. I had to make a second trip to the Upland store to exchange them. There was no apology for the mixup when I brought the boots back. I received a refund and was told I could have a pair shipped from another store if I had a Macy’s card. I said I have one but haven’t used it for 20 years. He said no problem, he would either find the account or open a new one. I said I would look in the shoe department first. I found a pair of boots I liked. The right boot fit fine, but, I had trouble putting the left shoe on. I asked for a shoehorn, but none could be found. Finally, a service rep retrieved one from his car. I still couldn’t get the boot on and no one offered to help. I went back to the service rep and said to look for my Macy’s card. He opened a new account and gave me a list of stores to call with inventory of the boots I originally ordered. Why didn’t he just do it himself without my card? Macy’s screwed up, not me. I called the Topanga Shoe department. I was told the boots could be held for me, but not sent. He did not offer to transfer me to the service dept. I then called the Bloomfield, Illinois store service dept. She said the boots were in stock and I didn’t need a Macy’s card to send them to me. She said she would locate the boots and call me back. I never heard from her. Overall, I get the impression that the employees of Macy’s don’t care whether I make a purchase or not. When I returned home, I read the brochure about the Macy’s card and couldn’t believe the 33% APR! I thought Macy’s was a retail store, not loan shark.

Quality, Beauty, Comfortable and Professional
I am between an 8.5 and 9 wide in Clarks. Each style varies. The 8.5W was too small. I returned I got the 9w which is just a bit big but I put in an orthotic and it works great. These are gorgeous all leather booties. Comfortable all day. The heel is high enough for a professional appearance and low enough to be comfortable. The folds make the shoe bunion friendly. The rubber bottom make them secure even in slippery floors.
