Carved out of Wood!

These boots are so uncomfortable. I think Father Geppetto carved them out of wood. I would say run don’t walk away but you would be crippled in these boots.

Excruciatingly Uncomfortable!

These boots are awful! They are like wearing two wooden boxes on your feet. The soles are like blocks. It’s as though they were carved out of wood. The upper portion of the boot is stiff. I cannot imagine the condition of my feet after wearing these boots for an extended period of time. Positively horrendous materials. I strongly suggest passing these by even if they were free.

sizing issue

I have these boots in black-size 8 that are 6yrs old. Decided to order a light color half size up for thicker socks. I like the look,color, style & weight but couldn't get them on. i would have to remove laces and use a shoehorn to get on--they are 8.5W. I wear 7.5 in athletic shoes. Winter boots are a pain but this is not functional. Very disappointed. Not Macy's fault but thankful for good return policy.

Insanely narrow!

Can’t review other features of the boot because it was way too narrow to really be objective about anything else from a fit perspective. My feet are medium to maybe SLIGHTLY wide. I rarely need a wide shoe though. This one is made for someone with a narrow foot. The style is cute, though.

Love my Cliffs by White Mountain Hiker Booties

Classic look. I love the feel & fit on my feet. They're very comfortable for a short trip or a hike. This boot runs true to size. My previous pair lasted 10+ years. So, with my new pair, I'm set for a while.
