Perfume is 8 years old. Smells outdated.

I opened this 2 months after purchase and it looks dark and also smells off. Sure enough, I checked the date on CheckFresh and it is 8 years old! I would think that a major company like Macy's would carry fresher perfume. This is very disappointing. I have been wearing this perfume for many years so know when it is smelling fresh and right. I hope Macy's addresses this matter with me despite it being past the return window. (It is past the return window because I was finishing another bottle of it.)
