I arrive open.

Like a lot of other reviews this project is super watery. No where near a gel. I bought two of them and shook them up every well before using them but both are watery. I miss the acne bar soap, Clinique needs to bring it back. I've been using the bar soap for years and seems to last longer than this new watery stuff.

Every product in my last couple of orders arrived contaminated with fragrance making the products unusable. Between this product and several soaps I purchased, everything has been ruined. I contacted customer service & was informed I would receive a refund & to disregard returning my items & the return request via email as everything had to be thrown away immediately due to health issues from the fragrance chemical contamination. It took dozens of washes to remove the fragrance from my skin. I have since been charged for my items & I’m still awaiting my refund. I have a copy of the transcript stating I would be refunded without the items being returned back since they were ruined & needed to be discarded as it impacts my health & the health of anyone intolerant of the toxicity in fragrance. It was not disclosed upon purchase, a perfume sample would be added to my order & I was not able to opt out of this item being added - which for many individuals is highly toxic. I purchase Clinique products with the intention to avoid fragrance & harsh chemicals, products specifically designed for sensitive individuals. This isn’t the first time I’ve received unwanted perfume that was not disclosed upon purchase. And I can no longer risk ordering through Clinique/Macy’s again unless these policies & practices including toxic fragrance chemicals added to orders, changes thank you. I cannot review the product itself, as I was unable to use it, however was gifted a small sample from a friend and do not care for it. I only purchased it as an alternative because Clinique acne solutions bar soap was discontinued.

They need to change the name of this from "gel" to "runny water". It's awful! A total waste of money. I have loved Clinique for decades and when I purchased this for my son I was so disappointed. I don't understand why Clinique would send out such an awful product!

I purchased both this cleansing gel and the foam pump in the acne line at the same time expecting to like the gel more. Unfortunately, this gel feels like water in a squeeze tube. I couldn't tell you if it helped my skin as I'm sure most of it ran through my hands and into the sink. I don't understand why this isn't a standard gel consistency for a face wash. Extremely disappointed and would not buy this one again though I've been extte Ely happy 2ith other Clinique acne products. Try the foam instead if considering this acne line.

Great for oily skin, gentle but effective

I couldn't tell you if the product works or not. I fight the packaging every time I use it. There is a rubber diaphragm that doesn't allow you to dispense the amount of product you want. You either get a boatload of product or too little. I am looking to find another container to place all of this into it. It wouldn't be so bad if you could screw the top off, but you can't even take the top off. Think again, Clinique. I'd give it less than one star if I could.

This particular product works with my sensitive skin great. Using twice daily helps tremendously with breakouts.
