Not yet able to comment about product. It's one of my fav's. I just haven't rec'd it... ...From appearances ordering from Macy's (in my case) is not up to what was noted, as the expected date & is to date, still being delayed. My product was ordered Dec. 28/25; expected date is now Jan. 14th & Without a reason for delay. Macy has failed on this count. Just sharing; be careful.
Terrible packaging !
Gift box was just put inside mailing box. No packing material put in box to prevent box from moving around inside. Gift box arrived open with small perfume bottom broken and empty. Perfume spilled all over box. Called customer service and they were very apologetic and sending a replacement with expedited shipping. Great customer service…. Terrible shipping dept !

Clinique’s Aromatics Elixir truly lives up to its name—it feels like life’s elixir in a bottle. This fragrance never disappoints. My mom has worn it since the 1980s, after discovering it through a friend who bought it not long after its original release in the early 1970s. Decades later, it remains completely timeless. Age doesn’t matter with this scent. If you appreciate a classic fragrance, this one delivers. And if you know even a little about fragrance notes, you’ll understand that this is not a “spray-and-run” perfume. It deserves a moment. Apply it before getting dressed and let it settle into your skin—this is where the magic happens. At first spray, it can feel bold and complex, but once it warms up, it transforms. You may barely notice it on yourself, yet others absolutely will. In fact, this is one of my go-to fragrances (along with just one other), and without fail, whenever I wear it, I’m asked what I’m wearing. Not because it’s overpowering or sharp—but because it’s elegant, confident, and unmistakably classic. It’s the kind of scent people remember, even if they can’t quite name it. I recently gifted it to my mother for Christmas—because a lady should never run out of her favorite scent.
