I love these globes. They look just as they are pictured. I bought both the small and large for the purpose of illuminating my son's diploma on my bookeshelf. They worked out beautifully. I agree with other reviewers that they are larger and bighter than expected. I'm so happy I purchased them.
Larger and brighter than expected
After waiting several months, I ordered both the smaller and larger size of this LED globe. The price was right and I wanted to see them in person. I was surprised at the size of the small globe - larger than I thought. And I was definitely surprised at the size of the larger one - QUITE a bit bigger than expected. Apparently I am not always great at accurately gauging size from a description! You might, based on my mistake, want to get an actual ruler and say, "If the globe was THIS big, is that what I'd want?" I also agree with the other reviewer - the fake frost isn't uniform from globe to globe. One of mine had more, one less. If you were looking for them to match, frost-wise - they might not, exactly. Mainly, I was surprised at the sizes, but also the brightness once we turned these on. Far brighter than I envisioned - you can clearly see the LED lights burning from inside. So, depends on what you like, if these will work for your house. Hope this helps!
Heavy on the fake frost....
I love the idea of these globes, and ordered two for my long dining room table for Thanksgiving. One globe came as pictured. The other globe is almost completely white. I’ll still use them but I’m slightly disappointed on how different they look.
