Visually Unappealing

I have numerous pieces of the Hotel Collection Modern tableware and thought this would be a nice serving piece to accompany them. Wrong. The marble design is so uneven and strange that the tray looks like it has mold, stain or something on it. I would not use this with any edibles so I returned it.
