too small for Queen platform

I'm disappointed because the Queen bedskirt I ordered isn't wide enough for my newly purchased Queen bed frame.

Just what I wanted.

I really like this bedskirt. It was fairly easy to install. It my king size bed with the exact length I needed. The wrinkles would have probably fallen out, if I had put it in my clothes dryer, but I decided to get out the iron. The Bedskirt looks wonderful.
