Perfect for my husband's study.

Exactly as described. The red and gold colors are perfect as they match the curtains already there, and the rug looks great in my husband's study. It brightens up the room.

Rug, Rug, Who's Got the Rug?

I ordered this rug May 23. Macy's offered a 10% discount that I accepted, and the discount price was shown on the pre-tax total. When they added the tax, Macy's also removed the discount. On June 1 they sent me an email saying the rug was "on backorder" and the new shipment date was "unknown," but Macy's customer service rep said her computer said the new expected delivery date was June 12. On June 4, Macy's told me the rug was delivered on May 30 - but when I clicked through to the FedEx website, is said the rug was delivered somewhere in Orlando FL, which didn't do me much good here in Chicago. Macy's customer service manager was very helpful and said he had put through a "replacement" order with expedited shipment, and that the rug would arrive by June 11. It didn't, and on June 13 I found the same rug on another retailer's website and ordered it. On June 18, the day that rug was delivered, I received another email from Macy's, saying that my "replacement" rug was being shipped on "12/31/9999" [sic] and that I would receive it by "Thu Dec 30." I didn't want to wait quite that long - 7,974 years seems a bit excessive - so I cancelled the order. The rug arrived as scheduled from the other retailer and I'm very happy with it.
