Good light bed topper

We bought this to use a lightweight summer bedspread, and an extra layer in the winter. My spouse likes having heavy covers (as in, weighty, not just warm), rather than just sheets and a down comforter, and this has been a good option for us. It’s cotton and breathes well. The colors are vibrant. The embroidery isn’t in any way connected to the print (as you can see in the photo) so it is nothing really fancy, but it looks nice enough overall and we got a good price on sale. It has held up well through daily use and easily covers our queen-sized bed (though we don’t have a thick mattress so check the measurements if you do).

Bleeds color, spoiled my dryer too

I will not recommended anyone to put their money on this quilt. I purchased it Dec 2017. It was a pretty as shown in the picture, I washed it in cold water. Dried in the dryer and my entire dryer turned red because of dye of this quilt. It's not getting off after couple of attempts. I don't think Macy's even except return after the wash. So basically I am stuck with it. Don't buy it. Never expected it out of a Martha Stewart collection.

Thinnest quilt ever!

I've ordered MANY quilts from different companies over the years (one could say I'm a quilt-a-holic) and when I saw this I thought it was beautiful so I took advantage of one of Macy's great sales and ordered it plus the shams. I finally received and opened one of the sham packages to check out the quality. I was surprised and a bit disappointed at how incredibly thin the material is. Hoping it was only the sham, I then checked the quilt. It too is extremely thin! Seriously this set should not be labeled as a "quilt" because it is basically two pieces of material sewn together to have the appearance of a quilt. I've ordered some really cheap quilts on occasion for kids' rooms, etc. but I have *never* seen one as thin as this! It is not even worth the sale prices!! Very disappointing for a Martha Stewart item. One would think she would never approve or have her name associated with such a poor quality item. BUT! I know it's not about that ($$). Anyway, unless you can get this set for $20 or under, do not buy. In the meantime it is going BACK!
