Felt apart after washing

These are so cute, but after just one wash (according to directions provided) they began to fray at the ends! Some of them hems have completely come undone and unravelled. They look so old and ratty. I found similar color ones at the dollar store that have held up ten times better!

I received these as a gift and while pretty, they are nothing special. They seemed a little pricey for hand towels.
