Exquisite not cream, darker olive/taupe color

As mentioned in previous reviews, this is an extremely well made piece and luxurious looking. However, the picture leads one to believe its a cream colored duvet when in fact its about eight shades darker and is an olive/taupe color. I was hoping it was just "perception" by other reviewers but it wasn't. For that reason I returned it and the reason for four stars..

So elegant.

Love my Beautiful Michael Aram Duvet cover. This was the perfect final touch to my gorgeous bedroom ensemble. It really pulled my bedroom together. Just breathtaking. Love my room.

I wanted to love it BUT...

I fell in love with this duvet so much that i splurged and got the 2 pillow shams to match. Unfortunately, I had to return it, even though I could tell it was of great quality, because the color is not like what is shown online or even on the packaging itself for that matter. The color was more of an olive green and I was looking for something more cream or off-white. For this reason I gave it 3 stars BUT, if you're looking for more of a green hue, you'll love this and especially if it's still on sale.

MA cheaped out

Bought this new duvet cover and shams as I wanted to punch up my bedroom decor and it was less money than a new area rug! In the past I have retuned MA throw pillows as they held up horribly. The design ascetic of this really drew me in. I like the mix of the silver and gold design, on the champagne background. I had been using DKNY bedding. Bottom line is this is a pricy duvet cover to only have 4 tabs on the interior, to secure the actual duvet. This is for a king sized bed. I believe the DKNY one had at least 6 if not 8. For a duvet of this size and price point there needs to be 6 minimally and 8 ideally. My bed always looks sloppy with a slipping duvet, inside the cover.
