The Sleep Philosophy plush weighted blanket is a safe and effective remedy for anyone looking for a better night's sleep or just to feel a little more relaxed after a stressful day at the office. The 60"x70" blanket distributes pressure all over your body, touching pressure points that can help reduce stress and anxiety. At the same time it creates a feeling of being held or hugged to make you feel secure and relaxed. The weighted insert is box-sewn to prevent the poly and glass bead filling from shifting during use. There are 10 ties inside the plush cover to secure the insert in place. Using a weighted blanket can help relax user's mind and in turn promote a deep and restful sleep throughout the night. This blanket can be used in many different ways by covering your whole body for sleep or simply wrap it around your shoulders or lay it across your lap or legs. Choose a blanket that's around 10% of your body weight, available in 12, 18, or 25 pound size. The plush cover with a zipper closure is removable for easy machine washing.

wrapped sandbag

so very disappointed by this item. I hoped it would help with anxiety but it just caused more. It’s as if the maker just wrapped up a sandbag for sale. The filling does not stay distributed across the blanket. it just plops.

So cozy and relaxing

I finally get the hype around weighted blankets! This one in particular is in such a soft, cozy material and the grey is a great neutral color. It really does help you to relax when you are using it, particularly when sleeping. It is definitely warm, so this will be a winter staple!

Slightly Disappointed

As for the Sleep Philosophy - Plush Solid Weighted Blanket: Pros: Nice quality. Soft and comfortable. Warm without being too overwhelming. Doesn't feel like I am being crushed/suffocated by the weight of the blanket. Cons: Odd size, seems more like a throw than a blanket. Heavy and hard to manipulate when making my bed. And the number one con, it didn't help me sleep any easier! Perhaps my sleep problems are caused by something else. I really wanted to love this blanket, but I only like it. It is good for a basic blanket, but for what it is supposed to do, help me sleep, it failed at that. It might be better at helping someone else's sleep problems.

Its so warm

I absolutely LOVE this blanket. It's super soft and fluffy. The weight of it is perfect. There is a long zipper on one side so you can pull the outer cover off to wash. There are ties that the weighted part tie to on the inside so it won't slip around and the inside is sectioned off so the weight is even. Since using it I haven't been waking up 2 to 3 times a night like I normally do. Its very comforting to feel like you are being hugged all night. My husband loves it as well so it looks like I'll be getting a second one.

Wonderful!

Recently received this blanket for my daughter who sometime have trouble falling asleep. With this weight blanket that problem has been solved. We lay her down and place blanket down on her and off she goes. Its soft and is just the right weight lbs for her size. If you kid or even your have trouble falling asleep I would recommend this blanket. It's just perfect.
