Reminiscent

I love this comforter. It is on my childhood four poster and it so reminds me of my childhood in 1950. It is nice and heavy, not cheap feeling.

This Is Not Chenille

Chenille is a super soft cozy material used in the 1940-50's for bedding so I was really excited about receiving this quilt set. Unfortunately the set is made to look like chenille but is made of some kind of rough and scratchy cotton material. I was hopeful that it would soften up when washed but although it didn't shrink at all it didn't soften up either. It is also a little heavier than I expected it to be. Overall it was a big disappointment.

Perfect

This comforter is wonderful! I love the color and the softness to it. I would say that it is very thick and warm, for me it’s great because I am always cold! I actually got it in a twin and just ordered another in a King!
