Clubroom Cashmere Sweater recent purchase

The sweater is very nice and comfortable to wear however, it started to shed and "pill up" quite severely. Is this normal?

Very good looking sweater

I convinced my husband to get him his first cashmere sweater, and this is what I ordered. It's a winner - nice weight, fits well, and looks great. The trick will be to make sure it doesn't end up in the regular laundry and gets washed with the other "gentle wash" and "cold water" items (i.e. my wool sweaters and leggings). Will try to get more of these, particularly since we are moving back to a much colder place next year.
