Pretty but not as soft as expected

Beautiful scarf. I was expecting it to be a little softer, but it looks nice at least. I was disappointed with the packaging. Clearly opened and taped shut and the tag was super damaged. I gifted this so I was embarrassed of that. Usually Macy's doesn’t do that.
