Large and light weight. Nice big security back zipper pouch which will hold phone, keys, small wallet etc. Leather is thin and pebbled. It is a true tote bag that can hold extra shoes, water. laptop and more. There is a brass security snap closure in the inner center of the bag that stays snapped. Longer handles for over-the-shoulder. A nice change from the more structured smaller tote handbags.
