Beautiful bag but choose another store to purchase

I purchased this handbag twice from macys.com and both were returned. The first was deeply scratched on one side (leather damaged), so I returned at a store. I purchased another one and the second one had multiple leather scratches on one side, though not as bad as the first, so I returned in a store again. I purchased my third from a different department store and it came in perfect condition. Disappointed in Macy’s.

Excellent

Gorgeous genuine leather fabric. The golden C hardware design is very sophisticated. Wide on the inside, so it can carry a lot of my things.i receive compliments on it all the time.

Macy's Mistake

I'm sure the bag is lovely. I wouldn't know because Macy's sent me the wrong one. Then instead of crediting the money back to my card when it was sold out, they sent me a gift card for the amount of the bag.

cute but shipped in a bag

The bag is a 5/5, so cute and fits more than expected considering its size as a structured leather shoulder bag. I ordered black with silver hardware. The leather looks great and feels nice and sturdy. The interior is beautiful too. The Coach logo hardware adds a subtle, unique touch, but I received it with a a small chip in the hardware. I'm incredibly disappointed that Macy's shipped a $400 designer handbag in a bag rather than a box, which is why I docked two stars. I can tell my package went through it. The only plus on Macy's behalf was fast shipping––I would hope so since they charge a $10 surcharge to Hawaii regardless of being a Star Rewards Gold member. I won't be ordering from Macy's online again, just wish they had this in-store.
