Beautiful Bag......however.

I love the looks, color (Merlot), and leather of this bag. It is also extremely well made; however, it's smaller than I realized. The dimensions read 6" in height, but that includes the extra side panels that go above the zipper area, which means the actual compacity measurement is a little over 4" in height, so losing almost 2" in the height measurement makes a difference when filling the handbag. I honestly do not carry a lot in my bags, and it was a struggle to get everything to fit. If you're looking for a bag to carry basic essentials to take on outings, then this is a perfect bag but if you're looking for that everyday bag to throw extras in if needed this may not be for you. For example, if I wanted to take an extra pair of sunglasses, they wouldn't fit and I use cloth cases.

Has potential

Wanted to love this bag but the handles killed it for me. They are extremely stiff, no real give, and uncomfortable on shoulder. The main body of the purse was nice, loved the leather etc…but I returned due to the handles.

Best Coach Empire Bag!!!!

Love the quality of this bag. The handles are longer than the other empire bags making it very comfortable to wear even with a heavy coat. So so happy with my purchase !!!
