All kinds of bad
I ordered these in brown and when I opened the box, I was disappointed. If I had seen these in the store, I wouldn’t have bought them. The leather is really hard, and overall the shoe is kinda ugly. Further, I have high arches and I needed a shoe horn to get my foot into the shoe. I ordered up a size based on the reviews but still not right. I’m returning them.
2 sizes too small and very narrow
Exactly what I was looking for but didn't work out. The shoe is nice looking but extremely uncomfortable. I have medium width feet, usually a 9 or 9.5. I tried the 9.5 and it felt like squeezing into an 8.5. I went up to a 10 and still very tight and constricting. Not sure what Cole Haan did to these shoes but I gave up at 10 and just ordered a similar looking shoe by Naturalizer.
Cole Haan loafers
Beautiful loafers but I had to return because they were too narrow. I've purchased several pairs of shoes from Cole Haan and they usually fit without an issue. Disappointed that this loafer and none of of their loafers come in extended widths

Versatile loafers
Love these loafer. Pros: The leather feels stiff at first but it doesn’t make the shoe uncomfortable, shoe is comfortable. They are slightly chunky but not too chunky, which is important to me since I’m petite and don’t like my shoes to overwhelm my body type. Love that the sole has some traction so I can wear them during cold months and not slip. I’ve worn them with slacks, jeans, and skirts when I don’t want to wear heels or boots so they are versatile. The only con is the back heel area could be just a touch higher. I have small feet and I feel like the shoe could slip off. But I’ve worn them with a thin sock to keep them in place.

A bit clunky and big
These loafers have a large profile, and I am looking for a more low profile show. The leather is very stiff and the tongue part was too high and dug into the front of my ankle. They felt too clunky to wear with dresses and skirts, which is partly why I want loafers.
