Still on the hunt for my Goldilocks backpack

I've used this a few times. I've been trying to replace an awesome bag I had for years but is now falling apart. Compared to the old pack, this is 2 stars. I was hoping for it to be a good travel bag but its... ok. I would not hike with it unless I had to--this is not optimized for hiking. CONS 1) The laptop pocket is not tall enough. It does not go high enough cover a laptop or even a water reservoir. The laptop pocket has no rigidity and tends to get caught on whatever is in the main compartment. 2) The hole at the back, for what I assume is a spot for a straw from a water reservoir, is less of a hole and more of just a gaping open spot in the top. It is weird. 3) The front pockets don't really have any room to put anything in them. In other words, they were not built to be 3D. So anything you put in them just takes up space from the main compartment or anything in the main compartment puts pressure on those front pockets and makes it very difficult to get anything out of them. WHAT IT LACKS 1) Instead of 2 side-zippered pockets there needs to be one pocket and one mesh side to carry say, a water bottle. Water bottles just fall out of the side zipper pockets. 2) There needs to be a strap above the pockets so you can secure poles or a camera tripod/selfie stick. 3) There really should be a zipper going up the side of the pack to access the laptop pocket without having to pull everything out. PROS 1) I liked the color 2) Its a good size

Move on from the product

Substandard Material. I do not think it is suitable for rough uses.

Great size and space intake

Doesn’t look so big once you get but start packing and you’ll see a difference. Of course I rolled my clothing. Excellent for trips, especially some hiking ones. I definitely recommend this if you like to travel light and know how to pack in an organized manner.

Good backpack, but one reservation.

I like the backpack - it's spacious, easy to use, light, and has a lot of pockets. However, there's a slit at the top between the cover and the back which makes no sense - when it rained, some water got on my computer. Why in the world would a backpack be designed with a hole in the top?

Great space

Waterbottle holders comfortably hold a 32 oz bottle, and there is easy access to use a bladder as well.
