My whole team got these and love them
I had several decent jackets already before getting the Delta Ridge II, but I had misplaced my packable down jacket, and all my other coats have hoods. I wanted something lighter weight than my parka and my ski jacket, but still warm. This did the trick. Even though it's not technically what I would call packable (you can't stuff it inside out into its own pocket), it does compress pretty well in a suitcase. I like that this one doesn't have a hood, but it has some good sized pockets for a hat and gloves. Looking at it, you might think that it's not very tough, but so far (knock on wood) mine hasn't snagged on anything, even when I was sure it did. This is a nice, soft jacket which is warm when you need it to be, but not overly hot when it's just a bit cool out. The sizing for XL was spot on for me as a slightly overweight 6'1" guy, although one of my buddies who is a little shorter sized up to XL because he likes a little extra room for layering, and the arms were way too long for him. Definitely check the sizing chart before ordering. I'm really happy with the purchase and would highly recommend this jacket if you like puffer style jackets.

Great Lightweight Jacket
I really like this jacket. The fit is perfect, the sleeves are plenty long and the body of the jacket is good and long (29½” in XL), and I love that it does not have a cord to tighten the waist. Know a lot of people like that feature, but with me the cord frequently catches a folding knife that I carry clipped in my pocket, and I find that very irritating, so thank you Columbia for a jacket that does not have that feature. This jacket is not as warm as my Columbia Wolf Creek Falls jacket (yes, have had it for a while), but it is very light and useful for most of what I do. And it looks great!
