My whole team got these and love them
I had several decent jackets already before getting the Delta Ridge II, but I had misplaced my packable down jacket, and all my other coats have hoods. I wanted something lighter weight than my parka and my ski jacket, but still warm. This did the trick. Even though it's not technically what I would call packable (you can't stuff it inside out into its own pocket), it does compress pretty well in a suitcase. I like that this one doesn't have a hood, but it has some good sized pockets for a hat and gloves. Looking at it, you might think that it's not very tough, but so far (knock on wood) mine hasn't snagged on anything, even when I was sure it did. This is a nice, soft jacket which is warm when you need it to be, but not overly hot when it's just a bit cool out. The sizing for XL was spot on for me as a slightly overweight 6'1" guy, although one of my buddies who is a little shorter sized up to XL because he likes a little extra room for layering, and the arms were way too long for him. Definitely check the sizing chart before ordering. I'm really happy with the purchase and would highly recommend this jacket if you like puffer style jackets.

Great Lightweight Jacket
I really like this jacket. The fit is perfect, the sleeves are plenty long and the body of the jacket is good and long (29½” in XL), and I love that it does not have a cord to tighten the waist. Know a lot of people like that feature, but with me the cord frequently catches a folding knife that I carry clipped in my pocket, and I find that very irritating, so thank you Columbia for a jacket that does not have that feature. This jacket is not as warm as my Columbia Wolf Creek Falls jacket (yes, have had it for a while), but it is very light and useful for most of what I do. And it looks great!

Too small, 2 different standards???
The Delta Ridge II Down Zip-Front Jacket is great quality, and I started out my journey by trying on a large size jacket in official Columbia store locally which was a great fit for me, but they didn't had in the green color, so I started searching online and I was able to find it at Macy's same jacket, same color, same size and when I got it here and tried it on, for some reason Macy's jacket did not fit at all, it was waaay too small on me ! I double checked the size, the style number and label which was identical on both and decided to return it because of "running too small" I have no explanation on this, but the 2 stores have 2 different size standards, or I really don't know what happened...yet waiting for refund from Macy's, less shipping costs...
