Great for cooler temperatures.
I bought this a size larger to wear in the cooler months over sweatshirts and sweaters. I like the longer length as well. Nice and kight but has a flannel like liner.

Love it! Should not have sized up.
I ordered this jacket for an upcoming cruise to Alaska. Based on several customer reviews, I side up to an XL. I normally wear a medium or large in shirts/jackets. My thought was that I should order the XL, since I most often order a large in rain jackets to allow room for layering. The XL was actually so large, that I’m a little hesitant to order a large. I could possibly size down to a medium. For reference, I am 58 years old, 5’7”, and currently weigh 183 lbs. I have somewhat of an athletic build and my weight is evenly distributed if this helps.

Liked it so much I bought another
This is my second lined switchback jacket. It’s so hard to find a good spring/fall jacket that’s lined (and even lined in the pockets!). Would give it five stars if the first one’s zipper lasted better and the hips had a little more give.

Windbreaker for cool weather at best
Purchased this for my girlfriend. An issue with the stitching made me realize just how poorly suited this jacket is for keeping someone dry in rainy weather. It's a very thin outer material held together by stitches. There's no seam tape. This is essentially a windbreaker that allows you to walk in the rain from your house to your car. Made in Vietnam. Perhaps that's the reason for the manufacturing issue. Perhaps if it was made in the USA, it would have been better. Who is to say. Columbia is using cheap materials for this jacket as well.

Cute & Comfortable Jacket!
Bought a bunch of these a year ago. Love this jacket. It runs a tad small, but the medium fits great (I’m 5’6, 110 lbs).
