Petite dress gave me the perfect midi length

I am 5'4" and a solid size 8 in jeans and dresses, but I read all the reviews and took a chance on this dress in a size 6P and it turned out PERFECT for what I wanted. It is a very light crepe material and the size 6 still was loose enough with the side ruching to give me plenty of tummy concealment. The Petite length hit perfectly below the knee but about an inch above what would be exactly mid-calf...in other words, exactly how it is pictured on the model. A regular length dress would have been weirdly too long. Size down, and if you are 5'4" or under, go petite.
