Good enough for the desk, not for traveling
Bought this to replace the best travel cup I've ever owned, this one would be good if it didn't leak from the drink hole. Contigo really needs to remove the selling point that it is leak free when closed because that is actually false advertising. I would love a refund since I now have to replace this thing

Good for cold, alters flavour of hot tea lattes
Bought this in the summer for cold drinks. Fogured it would be good for for my hot drinks in the winter. Not so. It keeps my drink hot, but ot alters the flavour of my tea so much I don't want to drink it. Don't know about coffe, but if you drink tea iced chai latte is fine hot, skip it. Go for glass or ceramic.

Truly leak proof
I love proving to others how leak proof this is by shaking this upside down over my lap. Also great for keeping coffee hot and water cold on my HD.

Keeps the liquid hot in it for ages.
Very good at keeping the drink hot, doesn't leak and easy to keep clean. The temperature of the liquid inside does not come through the wall, so can't burn myself by holding it for too long. I like the rubber bit on it, it helps with grip and it looks fine. Fits a good amount of liquid.

Great coffee cup for work!
I have been using these travel mugs for coffee for over 3 years for work. They stay hot, are dishwasher safe, and leakproof. Make sure the rubber seal in the lid is in correctly if you do get a leak. The paint tends to chip on the colored ones after a few years but it doesn't affect the intended purpose.

Its still a good Contigo, but the West Loop 3.0 C
I really like Contigo mugs, they. are extremely durable.. but I dont care for this snap lid one. I prefer the west loop auto close style. I bought this one because it was a bit cheaper, but its not drop proof per say like the west loop. So I donated it. The west loop i dropped down an entire flight of stairs and it never spilled.a drop! Sure, it has dents, and the paint has peeled because I dont follow dishwasher directions, but I still love it! This snap close one, you have to remember to manually snap closed and falling right, it will open it. I also dont like having to open and close it with the flip lid. For the extra dollars, the west loop 3.0 will forever be my mug!
