Great purchase

I'm not sure why this product received negative ratings. First of all, I prefer the plastic lids because they don't slip and slide around while storing them. I found the lids to be of good quality; and, I do not put my lids in the dishwasher. So, with that being said, I received my 2nd set today, and I'm still very happy with my purchase.

Worthless

I specifically asked the clerk if they had glass lids. Being visually impaired I trusted that I was given an honest answer. When I got home I discovered that all that was included was flimsy plastic covers.

not what I expected. I thought I was buying the traditional corning set but it turned out to be a very fragile type set. not my mother's corning!

Lids are useless

3 stars for adorable retro bakeware, but the lids are worse than useless, which made it a disappointment overall. I’m really surprised by all the stellar reviews...my guess is that none of these reviewers have actually used the product. The lids are so bad, It’s as if the lids weren’t specifically made for the dishes. Even if you’re holding the lid on as tightly as possible, if the dish has liquid in it, an you even slightly tilt the dish, it will spill everywhere. And i don’t mean they leak a little, they literally empty in seconds. Also, the dishes can’t actually hold the listed quantities, they all accommodate significantly less than stated, especially given the lids aren’t able to help contain items in the dishes. If you don’t need the lids and you’re ok that they’re smaller than described, then maybe you’ll be satisfied with this cute but not entirely functional product.
