The design is pleasing. The wood seems pretty young, so I'm going to age it in the elements for a season before layering on Thompson's water seal. I did use wood glue and will caulk the seams. The assembly instruction have no text, so you'll need to be extraordinarily observant. I suggest you dry fit the next step before putting screws in for your current step. I had to do step 2 twice. Good thing the glue hadn't dried! I'm going to need a hand installing the door because the latch position forces it to ride high in the opening, making attaching the hinges by myself impossible.
