Washing Techniques for Black Jeans

I like the jeans. My only problem is when it comes to washing them. They tend to get sort of white greyish spots and become ruined. So how are you supposed to wash the black jeans? I tried not adding detergent but it still did the same thing.

Disappointing slouch mom jean

Unfortunately I had to returned this item twice, first it was too small and the second time it was too big, the fit was just off. Plus I'm not the tallest person so the slouch look didn't exactly work for my little legs, the pants was too long.
