Relevant and Riveting

I was not expecting this book to be THIS GOOD. You could hardly believe that it was written over 150 years ago with how relevant it feels to the world today. The characters were so alive, their emotions and thoughts so strong and vibrant. I kept picking it up every chance I got to see what was going to happen next and there were several times I felt anxious over what I was about to read. Raskolnikov was a great main character because he is easy to identify with, but also so easy to be annoyed with. Dostoyevsky really knows how to capture the human heart, mind, and condition.

New Favorite

This was my first read by Dostoevsky, and I’m obsessed. Safe to say I’ve dropped $100 or more on my collection of his novels. Crime and Punishment is absolutely exquisite, and I would recommend it to anyone. Definitely a must read. Vintage Classics has my favorite translations of his works, so I would absolutely suggest getting this copy.
