Paring knife chipping

I expect better quality from Cuisinart - the paring knife, which I use the most, is chipped in a couple of places and hard to sharpen, hence doesn't cut vegetables, etc., well. The rest of the set is fine, but as mentioned, I don't use all the knives as often as the paring knife.

Sharp kitchen utensils are a wonderful upgrade

I love having the kitchen scissors and knives all in the block and easily accessible. The scissors were great for going out and cutting my basil and mint. The knives are definitely sharp enough. I’ve already cut myself by not being cautious enough. It happens when you’re used to dull knives. I haven’t tried the sharpener, yet. I’m very pleased with purchase.
