Toast and only toast (maybe a bagel)

Just what I wanted- a simple toaster that made toast! No frills, no thrills- you can count on a good piece of toast. The shell is a little cheapish.

Disappointing. Not Cuisinart standard

Inconsistent toasting. Dark in center coils and light in outer ones. Hard to calibrate. Not worth the money

Over toasted on low settings

Nice size and wide openings but the temperature setting has to be on 3 out of 7 to not over toast bread. The bagel setting still seems to over beat the outside
