May not be suitable for all users.

I don't reccomend for older people who get confused easily. We've had many Cusinart appliances. This is a high teck toaster with confusing settings. Choosing the type of bread seems to alter the heading function. I must admit that I did not read the detailed instructions, I've been trying to learn it intuitivelym which it is not.

2 slice digital toaster

Definitely a worthwhile upgrade! Toast is done to perfection, no matter what type of bread (and we toast all types). Easy and straightforward to adjust. The one-slice feature is particularly welcome.

It's OK

We bought this to replace a non-digital Cuisinart that we had previously. After a short learning curve with various bread types and muffins, we have honed in on the correct settings to give us satisfactory results. On wider slices, there is sometimes a tendency to not pop up to the top. I do like the idea of the count down timer when I am simultaneously preparing eggs, etc. Overall, it is a step up from the conventional toaster.

Not great

I was spoiled by my last one. This one is much more flimsy & does not toast evenly. Also, the lever on the side does not stay down. Toast keeps popping 1/2 way up. I'm not impressed with the quality or pricing.
