For best results, follow the directions to preheat the milk. The machine works fantastic.

Fantastic Yogurt Maker

Makes the best yogurt I have ever had. This is a second identical yogurt maker, so I can make double batches. The cooling function is the greatest. I can run an 8 hour fermentation cycle, and not worry that I need to be home when it completes. It switches to cooling automatically, until I do get home.

easy, much less expensive Greek yoghurt

Extremely easy to use; makes Greek yoghurt at about 1/6th the price of the packaged yoghurt. Made with organic, pasteurized milk, with starter (can be from the just-previous batch): I let it run the full 8 hours, then store the yoghurt at around 36° F (2° C) and it's good for more than a week.

Electronic Yogurt Maker with Auto Cooling

Works great except the finished product is too watery. To get a more firm yogurt, you have to strain it which is an extra step that's a bit annoying to have to go through.

Great machine (for the 3 months it worked)

Easy to use machine that worked really well for 3 months and then completely stopped working. Waiting for a replacement for over a month

On the fence about it

I'm excited to be making my own yogurt with the milk of my choice but have been having a hard time figuring out the best amount of cooking time. Unfortunately the instruction manual is not much help. Trial and error for the past month has not endeared me to the product. Will keep on trying since the taste is good and I still enjoy the convenience and cost savings the machine provides.
