Also always fighting with my food processor

I am 100% with the same reviewer who posted about fighting with this food processor. It is impossible to get the lid off. It is monstrously heavy. I bought a replacement. It is absolutely an albatross around my neck that I am trying to unload now.

Fighting with my Food Processor

I bought this a few years ago. I use it as little as possible as I have to fight with it all the time. I have even had to use a hammer to remove it from the base. Getting the lid on is another difficult project. Now a piece broke trying to get feed tube attached. (see picture) My old DC-10 was so easy to use & this one is not. Washing it is also a task, especially since I do not have a dishwasher.

Not as good as the older versions

Unfortunately we bought this just a few months ago and already a piece of plastic broke off the cover. Our previous food processor lasted 25 years! The quality has definitely gone down.
