Fighting with my Food Processor

I bought this a few years ago. I use it as little as possible as I have to fight with it all the time. I have even had to use a hammer to remove it from the base. Getting the lid on is another difficult project. My old DC-10 was so easy to use & this one is not. Washing it is also a task, especially since I do not have a dishwasher.

Not as good as the older versions

Unfortunately we bought this just a few months ago and already a piece of plastic broke off the cover. Our previous food processor lasted 25 years! The quality has definitely gone down.

Happy I Upgraded!

Love this so much! Upgraded from an older, smaller Cuisinart and I’m so glad I did! Lots of room, works fantastic, and not as loud as the smaller unit that is older.

It does anything easily, quickly; minimal clean up

The 14 cup is the best food processor I have had over the last 40 years. I use it on an average of 3-4 times a week. A mandoline is nice, but if you are processing a lot of different things or a lot of one, not just slicing one tomato, this is the only way to go. An extra 2 oz may be great but I can still do my sweet potato casserole. Both of my kids have one, it makes our lives so much easier - better. I am forever grateful that they did not change a product that was already the best and needed no improvements.

First use

First use was very satisfying. While unpacking the box I was very please to find the base containing the motor to be heavy. (In a good way!) It gave me the impression that this was a solid unit and would stand up to my demands. I've only had the chance to use it once so far, but I'm very pleased. This 14 cup food processor should provide me with years of reliable service.
