Light weight and easy to use

My old Cuisinart of 40 years broke...I bought this new one. Love it because it is smaller and a lot lighter than my old one and the larger new ones. Works well. Easy to store. Just be careful with sharp blades but this isn't new. Have used several times and really like it.

It Is OK For The Price

It is OK for the price, a bit cheap and tacky feeling, not robust.

Not the best for shredding

Not as near as good as my old Hamilton Beach for shredding because discs do not stay solidly flat, but move. Food gets stuck in the feed tube at the disc and you have to stop and take if it out to continue. Also, food builds up on one side in the bowl. on one side and not evenly in the work bowl.

Good for every task except making doughs.

Almost perfect. It's powerful enough for every task and not as noisy as some other brands. Easy to clean in dishwasher. Only problem is the mixing blade is metal so it's more of a chopper. Even with minimal pulsing my pastry and other doughs are incompletely mixed and tough. I would be happy if an inexpensive plastic mixing blade had been included with the good quality metal blade and grating disks.

Not as good as the old one

Bought this food processor last month Not as good as the last one I replaced. Isn’t as well made and the unit itself look old. Buttons are a dull finish. The old one the buttons were shiny and still looked nee

Great features! Easy to clean.

I’ve had this food processor about three weeks and so far, it’s been great. Have made several recipes out of cookbook. Has really made slicing and dicing easier. I wish it had a third blade for larger cuts, for soups. Love that I can put all of it in dishwasher, top shelf.

Not good for shredding carrots.

I had the FP8SU model. I bought it to mainly shred carrots but unfortunately the carrots get stuck under the blades so it’s now just an ornament, ok for other things but def not for shredding carrots. A good point is that is light to pick up.
