The Cuisinart Custom Grind and Brew Single Cup Coffee Maker bring together the rich flavor of fresh ground beans and the ease of single-serve brewing. It features a stainless-steel conical burr mill that grinds whole beans just before brewing, so every cup is fresh and bold. This Cuisinart coffee maker brews at a higher temperature than standard pod machines to ensure your coffee is hot from the first sip. The removable drip tray lets you switch easily between a regular mug and a travel cup up to 7 inches tall. Designed for easy cleanup, all major parts are removable, including the hopper, conical burr mill, and 58-ounce water reservoir. Model DGB-30.

I'm impressed...So far

I'm giving it only 4 stars for now since i just got it and used it 2X so far. The shipping box and packaging get a 10/10 - excellent. Set up and initial clean cycle 10/10 - Excellent. The first cup i made was with the filter basket & paper filter with a keruig k cup (cut it open and dumped it in the filter/basket) it brewed my 10 oz coffee fast, quietly and HOT. The next cup i brewed was with the whole bean option. I LOVE this Don Francisco brand Vanilla coffee. I chose the medium strength and 10oz. The grinder noise was no louder than any coffee grinder, my house is all tile so things sound louder than they actually are. My coffee came out perfectly!!!! Strength of coffee 10/10, temperature of coffee 10/10 Convenience 10/10. I messed up and forgot to use the paper filter too, but the clean up was not a big deal. I'm writing such a long review because this was a big purchase for me, and I relied a lot on reviews when looking for a coffee maker that fits my needs and hopefully lasts! I Dumped my keruig and I don't ever want to go back! I'll post another review in a few months.

Best Coffee Maker

Absolutely love this new grind & brew coffee maker! Coffee tastes better having the beans freshly ground. It lets you know when to add more beans and water. Very easy to use.highly recommend!

Great single-cup coffeemaker

This coffee maker is really great. I have been a Keurig user for many years but got tired of both the cost of the pods as well as the 'less-than-perfect' flavor of the coffees for the Keurig. This allows the use of beans that are fresh and certainly more flavorfull when ground just prior to brewing. Only two minor drawbacks - 1) cleaning out the grounds for each cup, and 2) a fairly small hopper for the beans and somewhat small container for water. Even those drawbacks are minor compared to the much better taste of freshly ground and brewed coffee.

fresh ground 24oz

i can brew a fresh ground 24 ounces into my large travel mug at the touch of a button i use a 4 cup filter for easy clean up just dump the filter and rinse the holder no coffee grounds clogging up the sink or septic
