This Cuisinart coffee maker brews at a higher temperature than standard pod machines to ensure your coffee is hot from the first sip. The removable drip tray lets you switch easily between a regular mug and a travel cup up to 7 inches tall. No more micro plastics in my coffee

Bought this on the recommendation of a friend and we are so happy we did. No more micro plastics in my coffee- and we don’t have to make a whole pot. I also love the idea of making smaller cups at times. Fresh ground coffee is so great but the ability to have already ground coffee and iced coffee is super helpful too.

Disappointed

Bought one for my main home and it works fine. Bought a second for my beach house and it failed in its initial cleaning use. Doesn’t pump and water through the machine. I hear the pump running, but nothing comes out. Then it stops and beeps.

Good concept but sadly many flaws

We never could get it to brew the amount of coffee we selected, it always brewed 2 oz less than we selected, no matter the size, so we added hot water to the grounds for it to finish our cup. This is our 3rd model of Cuisinart Grind and Brew, the 1st (DGB-550) lasted 13 years, and our current one (DGB-900) we’ve had for 6 years (we got this one for another location, the DGB-900 is still going strong), and this one uses an incredible amount of beans - we used .5 lb of beans in one week with brewing 2-3 cups a day, bold or medium setting, at 10 oz cup size. With that being said, it did make a very good cup of coffee. Our other complaint was it made an unbelievable mess with steam that collected all over the machine and beneath our cabinet during brewing (is that where the other 2 oz of water goes??) And finally, cleaning the grinder area not as easy as the manual said, I could never pull the grinder up out of the machine. I’ve never been so happy to return an item.

Nice option!

I think this is a great option instead of brewing a pot of coffee. I like the fresh ground beans from the hopper, but my wife likes to use pre-ground coffee directly into the basket. I like that both options are available, so you can really control strength to taste. It takes #2 flat bottom filters if you don’t like the gold filter included, but I have found myself liking the gold filter. So far so good a month in, but we haven’t had to deep clean and decalcify it yet.
