I highly recommend this coffee maker. It is perfect for one cup of coffee at a time. Since we are not big coffee drinkers, it's perfect. We replaced our old Keurig Coffee maker with this one. We wanted to get away from the "K-cups". Grinding our own beans, makes the coffee taste so much better. I drink iced coffee and I must say, it tastes so much better than Dunkin iced coffee. I've read where folks don't like to clean the basket each time, but it's not an issue. It easily rinses out with water. The burr grinder should be cleaned every 2-3 months, again, not a big issue. Simply use the brush, included, to brush it off. I haven't found one thing that I don't like about this coffee maker. You won't be sorry, if you purchase one. The Cusinart name speaks for itself. We have many other small appliances made by Cuisinart and they don't disappoint.

Wanted this forever and it is awesome
I could never understand why no company could design a capsule free one cup, bean grind coffeemaker and no surprise Cuisinart did it first and did it best. The bean grinding works well, holds lots of beans and most importantly the coffee comes out piping hot. Clean up is easy with just the included grounds basket to dump. I truly love it and cannot believe the finally combined the convenience of a kerig or nespresso, which is what I previously used, with the economy and control to buy your own beans or ground coffee. Excellent. Easy set up and worked well from first cup. You just have to remember to open and close the grounds bin tray on start up. Could not be happier and if it is like other cuisinart products I have had, coffee pot, toaster, it will last forever.

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!
We bought this about two months ago and we loved it, now it’s not grinding enough beans and the coffee is like hot water! It’s Very Disappointing!! This is not a Cheap Coffee Maker. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING???

Water Compartment
While I love this coffee make, it is heavy. The water compartment is on the back side. So, when it needs to be filled, I have to pull it out from the wall almost to falling off the countertop to take the water compartment off and refill. I wish it was on the side.

YAY, I can get both cup and pot!
We purchased this as a Christmas gift for both of us as we are coffee snobs. We love the way it brews bean coffee and the fact that the coffee is hotter. We have owned the Cuisinart Grind N Brew for at least a dozen years and had to replace several units under warranty. This new machine is great. If I want a whole pot, I get it. The single cup option is wonderful. I just wish I could find the smaller filters so I didn't have to deal with the messy clean out.

Best Coffee Maker I've Had
The single cup coffee maker brews fresh aromatic coffee in single servings perfect for me. The multiple strength/size and type selection buttons are perfect for choosing your coffee in hot or iced blends. The whole bean hopper keeps your beans fresh and sealed. So happy we purchased this Cuisineart!

Afterthought for Cuisinart
I have only used my Cuisinart Single-Cup Maker for a few week and I am only disappointed that I had not purchased it sooner. So far, it has been flawless and brews a tremendous cup of coffee. It's straightforward to use and easy to clean. I set it up on a riser so a taller cup of coffee can be filled. I did not read the manual because there are videos that show you everything that you need to know to use it. Regarding the taste depends on a person's preference of coffee. That aside, I recommend this coffee make for the person who wants a fresh cup of coffee at various sizes.
