This is the first time I have ever used a Pizzelle iron. I have several Cuisinart products and I have no complaints. This is why I chose this product. The best thing I like is the fact that I do not need to spray or butter the plates before I use them. I grew up with Pizzelles made for all celebrations. But, my Mom used an iron that was not electric and had to cook hers on the stove. That iron was just too heavy for me and I had to improve my skills.
I am having a small problem with the timing and how the iron heats up, turns on, and, then, heats up again. I am learning (and this is a real feat for an over 80 person). As far as my recipe goes, I think I have this figured out.
