Lariat piece won't lie flat

This is such a pretty design and I was excited about receiving it, but when I tried to wear it, it didn't work for me. The lariat piece doesn't lie flat but turns sideways and backwards. I kept putting it back flat but it would flip back. Also, one of the pearls had a small hole in it and you could see a line down the side of the pearl above and below the hole (though if this imperfection were the only issue I would have exchanged for another necklace).

Pretty ok

It looks just like the picture but the chains is too thin cans break anytime. The pearl is heavy so pulling the it down I don’t know about this one. It’s a pretty piece though.
