Terrible kitchen mat

This rug is absolutely terrible. I only used it for company and it immediately was filthy. I tried to clean it by hand but that didn't work. I will try to put in the washing machine to see if that helps but I am sure I will need to wash it every day. It wasn't cheap and I so sorry I ordered this rug.
