I love this flatware!! A friend had this collection and I knew when I got married a few years ago THIS would be the spoons and forks on my table. They are very durable and have a GREAT presentation in any occation!!

We registered for TORUN in 2002 for our wedding. Children and years later, we love these utensils that are truly a work of art. Dinner guests always compliment us on the set. We bought the matching serveware as well....still not seen any flatwear prettier. WHen my friend married in November, she had registered for this set as well.

I registered, received and have recently added the DANSK Torun Flatware to my collection. I have used the pieces several times a year for more than 17 years and the original pieces look as good as the new pieces. This design has really stood the test of time. I love the set as much today as I did in 1992 when I first got married.

I absolutely love this flatware set. Good quality and great design. Some other reviews are not correct when they say 18/10 is a lower quality than 18/8. This number is the amount of chromium 18% and the amount of nickel 10%. Chromium makes the flatware stronger and corrosion resistant while nickel gives it it's luster. The higher the number the higher the quality, 18/10 is considered the highest quality.

Perfectly Simple

I love the design, as there is no intricate details to clash with table settings. I think the 18/10 stainless will hold-up nicely and I expect to be using them for many years to come!

Perfect flatware

I love this flatware. View it in the store to get a good feel of the look and heft. It's really beautiful and unique in our contemporary home. I shopped extensively before selecting this flatware, and have seen consistently high ratings for its looks and durability. I wanted something high-quality and long-lasting, and that would add uniqueness and character to my table, and found all that I was looking for here. The flatware is gorgeous with our multi-colored FiestaWare, and I think it will also be beautiful with the silver-rimmed china passed down through my family. We've only had it a few months, but every piece remains shiny and clear after runs through the dishwasher. It feels so solid that I don't think anything is likely to bend or get scratched. My friend got a set for her wedding five years ago, and it still looks as good as mine. I wanted something that felt substantial when lifted, and this flatware is satisfyingly heavy while still feeling almost delicate in the hands. The handles seem to "hook" slightly in the hand, and they feel almost ergonomic. This flatware was the first stuff to be purchased from my registry -- my aunts and uncles loved buying it for us, particularly when Macy's had an excellent 2-for-the-price-of-1 sale on place settings. We couldn't be more pleased, and we have reason to hope that this will continue to serve us well for years.
