Requires app, wasn't mentioned

Absolutely misleading in the description to say "easy to use remote" and no mention that it essentially needs registration on the app to activate the treadmill in the beginning. I didn't know that until I opened the box and saw it on a paper on the treadmill. At most I expected maybe some trial and error with the remote. Set up on the app was also frustrating. It would disconnect from Bluetooth while I was trying to activate it. The treadmill works okay, but I do regret not looking into the brand more before purchasing. I understand some people would like the app integration for personal use, but not saying outright that it's required for initial use left a very bad taste for me.
