Don’t get this

This machine is extremely loud. It only lasted us 9 months... the coffee drips tiny drop by tiny drop. We thought it was dirty or something, so we cleaned it thoroughly... it did nothing to it. It is too late now to return back to Macy’s. Now we are stuck with a loud machine that does not work.

The little machine that could....

I have nothing but positives for this machine. Makes very good espressos and latte's. Just follow the directions. Cleaning is a process, but it has lasted me 6 years. Much longer than the previous Breville I had that stopped heating after two years with no replacement parts for repair. Had a used De'Longhi for 3 years and that was a surprise since it was already 5 yrs old when I bought it. I'm not a high end guy so this price point machine is perfect. I love my expresso in the morning! Recommend it!

Makes decent coffee, not espresso

Bought this because my French Press is great but messy. This takes a little getting used to, you must follow the directions, and finally I can pull a nice cup of not-very-hot coffee with a nice crema. But it’s not a bar pressure system, so it doesn’t brew espresso like the coffee shop can. Haven’t tried the foaming capabilities.

Cant get a strong cup of coffee

My first of several expresso makers was a Mr.Coffee, they were inexpensive, easy to use and made a great strong cup and good froth but they would burn out after a couple of years. I upgraded to Delonghi which usually worked well. This model sucks! The water container is cheap, cumbersome, leaks, and you have to fight the lid hinges with every use. I'm surprised it isn't already broken. The grounds container is about half the size of others and hard to clean. I have tried for weeks to make a strong cup but just can't, I've finally figured out how to get good froth occasionally, but every cup tastes watered down. I will be returning this. Disappointed!

Great product great price.

I have had mine for many years and it is still going strong. Can't beat the price.

Not worth the price!

I read the bad reviews but I still wanted to give it a try. As soon as I plugged it in there was a loud noise coming out of it. The trouble shooting suggested it was probably the pump. Then I followed what the trouble shooting suggested to do, of course it didn't work. I packed it and returned it the next day. I won't ever buy that machine anywhere! All parts are plastic and they look flimsy. This machine is so overpriced! Don't even bother.
