Home coffee upgrade
Love this machine! I've never had one that grinds beans on demand so the whole experience has been fantastic from start to finish. So many options to customize your cup of coffee, and the difference between the taste of the coffee from this machine and my Ninja is definitely noticeable (this one is better!). The machine is a little noisy but worth it for the coffee.

Excellent coffee, messy design!
Excellent concept and great tasting coffee but a horrible design. This product is designed for self cleaning between brews yet it's poor design makes it extremely messy after every brew. It leaks inside and after just a few brews will start pouring out on the counter. Every 2 or 3 days it needs to be completely broken down and cleaned due to mold growth inside. I wish this design has been improved upon since I bought it. Now that I'm in the market for a new machine, it looks like I will be changing brands.

Frustrating Experience – Not Worth the Price
I bought this DeLonghi coffee maker just over a year ago and have used it every day since. I chose DeLonghi because of its strong reputation and premium price point, but honestly, I regret the purchase. Right out of the box, I realized the ground coffee function is terribly designed. Trying to get the grounds into that tiny opening is messy and awkward. On top of that, you have to press the button twice when using the ground setting — and if you don’t do it quickly enough, it times out, wasting the coffee you just put in. It’s frustrating and feels poorly thought out. The machine is also incredibly messy. Even when it was new, coffee grounds went everywhere inside. You have to clean it after every single use, otherwise the buildup is awful. When the light comes on to empty the trays, it’s unbelievable how much mess has accumulated. And just recently, it leaked all over my counter for the first time — completely unexpected and just another headache. For the price I paid, I expected much better quality and design. The only positive is that the coffee itself tastes good — it’s stronger than I’d like, even on the light setting, but I’ve gotten used to it. Still, the constant cleaning, wasted grounds, and now a leak make it hard to enjoy. I’ll keep it for now since it was a big investment, but I’m already planning to replace it in the future. If I’d known it would be this frustrating to use, I never would have purchased it.

Fickle friend
This machine is beautiful and makes great coffee when it works, but MAN! This thing is so fickle. I have had to call support so many times, thankfully they are great but higher maintenance than my marriage.

Great Coffee Maker with Grinder
Just love this coffee maker!! It makes a great cup of coffee. Is so easy to clean, by pulling out the front and emptying the 2 containers; one with water and the other with the grinds. I like after making coffee, how it does a rinse after sitting for a bit. Coffee flavor is very consistent. I also like the selection of different size cups of coffee.

Best Coffee Maker I Have Owned!
I bought this machine in 2024 and have been looking forward to reviewing it since. I am a coffee snob because I drink my coffee black and prefer higher quality beans. This machine has been my favorite (and I have probably every imaginable coffee maker!). It’s easy to use, extracts precisely what is needed for the best cup of coffee! I love Americano style coffee and using the bold function, this is the closest it comes without having to purchase an espresso machine. This machine never disappoints!! I love the fact that it grinds the fresh beans into a cup of coffee without using plastic pods or any filters. I do spend some extra time cleaning it out once a week but really that’s it.
