While the kettle works as expected, the quality for the price point is underwhelming. The handle is pressed into the kettle and is uneven and the lid is very thin. The pot itself seems of good, thick material and the spout appears to be attached well. So, overall, it does the job of boiling water. Recommend to a Friend: No Quality of Product: Meh Value of Product: Poor for Price Point How often Use the Product: 16 gallons of tea concentrate per week. Recommend Zwilling: 4/5 Stars

Very big and beautiful!
I love my tea pot. It's very very big! I wasn't sure I wanted something that large, but it fits us.

Excellent, just double check the size you want
This is an absolutely beautiful and well-made kettle. It rated well in outside reviews for safety of metals, too. Just be careful when ordering so you don’t make the same mistake I did — the 6 quart kettle is fairly enormous! I thought the photo below the item in the description section was of the size I was ordering, but that photo of someone pouring the kettle is the 4 quart version. I returned the 6-qt and bought the 4-qt, and it is a perfect standard size. It was a gift for my mom and she loves it and says it performs beautifully.

Heavy duty tea kettle but not for me
The kettle build quality is great while the plastic handle and knob feels cheap. I know I should not dry burn it (it's clearly specified in the manual) but within two months, I have already thrown away two of these tea kettles due to leaving it dry burn. The bottom part of the kettle will fall apart if you leave it dry burn and you will have no choice but throw it away. I have an electric ceramic top stoves and it would take mora than 50mins on medium heat setting just to boil water, without build in whistle to remind me, it's easy for me to forget about it. I really want to love this product but unfortunately it is not for a forgetful old man like me.

Resto Tea Kettle
I have bought the same kettle about 2010 and have been using it since then - Excellent kettle. This new purchase is for my son who will be moving to his own home.

Demeyere 6.3 kettle Gleaming on the stove !!
LOVE IT!! This kettle is just the right size. My kettle doesn’t boil over any more on my stove. No more constantly cleaning water marks !! Looks beautiful and so far no rust
