Good Pan Overall, slight warping
Got the pan in 2017. Generally very good pan that heats evenly and sears meat well. Been using for 8 years and have not had any issues besides slight warping. After many uses, the pan warped reasulting in a slight raise in the center.

Great Go-To Pan for Daily Cooking
Great quality pan. Not too heavy for a 5-ply pan which makes it easy enough to use. Cleans up well even after higher heat cooking and searing. The finish holds up well and lifts any leftover food bits with a quick boil for more stubborn stuff. The rivet-less design is a nice touch and makes cleaning easier. There were to negligible divets on the inside opposite the handle welds. Doesn’t affect performance and doesn’t go through the finish of the cooking surface. Overall a great pan for daily use.

Best Stainless Steel Pans Hands Down
This pan is simply amazing. I have a full set of Demeyere pans, but the other one I had was too big. It was an awesome pan, but there were times where something that large was more troublesome. Now with the 8-inch Industry 5, cooking has become a whole lot easier. The heat is so evenly dispersed, causes a beautiful browning on food, and is so lightweight for the size. I'm so glad I purchased this pan!

Great piece and seems like a fantastic set!
Just received a 10 piece Demeyere set including this frying pan. I love to cook so even though it’s 2:30 in the afternoon, I decided to wash the pan and cook a fried egg how I like it along with some sticky rice so I could test it out cooking something simple but delicate, and cleaning it. In short, I can’t wait to cook more with this set! The pan heated up evenly and quickly and the egg fried up perfectly. Used a little bit of butter and there was no issue with sticking. The fit an finish of this set is great- Looks sharp, they’ve got some weight to them, handles have a nice texture for grip and feel nice in the hand. I’m excited to keep using this pan and the rest of the set to see how it holds up over time. i’m careful with my cookware so I anticipate this set lasting me for years to come without issues.

Spectacular cookware!
Demeyere Industry 5 is incredible stainless steel. It has replaced any non-stick junk pans we had, and we will be purchasing more to replace anything we have that isn't Demeyere. Heat dispersion is amazing, even, and there are no hot spots while cooking. Yes, the pan is heavier than cheap stainless, but no where near a cast iron or even carbon steel skillet in terms of weight (which, as a small woman, I see as a major plus). Also of note, if you're considering this or other Demeyere series, we also bought one pot from the 7-layer, more expensive Atlantis line, and we actually prefer the Industry 5. Cooking seems completely comparable, but the lid does not fit properly on the Atlantis. The lids in the Industry series fit perfectly. Overall, I spent hours and hours researching the best brand, and then the best line from that brand, and Demeyere's Industry 5 was what we settled on. Once purchased and used for about 6 months now, we are thrilled with every aspect of it. And a huge added bonus - NOT made in China.
